Travelers arriving into the Quito or Guayaquil international airports may enter Ecuador without travel restrictions provided they present no symptoms AND they bring their COVID-19 vaccination record (accepted only if the vaccination cycle is completed) OR a paper copy of the negative results of a COVID PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test that was taken within 3 days of their arrival

Airlines are required to verify at the point of origin that the passenger has a completed vaccination or a negative PCR test prior to boarding. Note: It is very important that the paper with your test results specify that it was a PCR test or else it may not be accepted.

Anyone presenting symptoms of COVID upon arrival in Ecuador is required to take a RT-PCR test at the airport at their own expense and proceed to quarantine in an authorized hotel even if the they have presented a negative PCR test at the airport of entry. Upon receipt of a negative test result, no further quarantine period is required.
