Trucks of joy

One of my favorite things to discover about living in one of the local communities is that the services are great! Everything arrives by truck including refrigerators, deluxe pillow-top mattresses, and all kinds of food and cleaning supplies.

This morning, we've stopped the plantain truck and the pinapple/orange truck. We bought a large bag of plantains for 50 cents and 5 pineapples for a dollar!



















We've had completely perfect weather the last couple weeks with blue skies, nice afternoon and evening breezes, and temps in the high 70's and low 80's. Our home has a great shaded area so the yard stays relatively cool during the day. Water temps are beginning to drop (ever so slightly) as colder waters from the south move up the coast.
