Blue Sky Saturday

Saturday started out bright and sunny!  The sun heated up the land, the heated air over the hot ground began to rise, and the cool air over the ocean was pulled onshore to replace it...  That gives us a wonderful breeze here on the coast... especially on clear sunny days.
All I had to do was head up the hill and pull a few pounds of fabric up into the air and I got to take advantage of all that free energy moving around!

Then getting up higher and higher... the red shapes below are three other wings that just launched. The wind stayed strong and constant and I stayed in the air for about an hour and a half before deciding to come down.

and a nice simple breakfast with platano, granola, and some fruit...
